Our Client takes a different approach when it comes to providing Project, Cost and Construction Management to the Property and Infrastructure industry. As Assistant Project Manager you will join a team who are delivering an end to end service for Public and Private sector clients. They are experts at managing risk and focus on building deep understanding of our customers' needs through detailed engagement and clear ownership.

As one of the UK leading multidisciplinary consultancies, operating in the building design, civil engineering, environment, management and transportation sectors, they combine their expertise to achieve more from the built environment. Working in conjunction with their Engineering and Cost Management teams, you will get the opportunity to deliver Project Management, Programme Management, Contract Administration and Construction Management on Building and Civil Engineering Projects. Typically you will be involved throughout the whole project lifecycle, from early planning to final occupation.

Requirements:

Responsible for delivery of building and civil engineering projects including roads, water and waste water infrastructure including:

* Representing Employer's throughout the full life cycle of projects.
* Procurement including preparation of contract documents, drawings and specifications.
* Assisting with feasibility studies, option appraisals, cost plans and business cases.
* Construction stage project management, monitoring progress against programme, assessing costs for works completed and ensuring quality.
* Working with other design team members in an integrated design team approach.
* Working to meet Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives

Experience:

* Degree in Construction, Engineering and Project Management related discipline
* Experience of NEC3 is desirable but not essential
* AutoCAD Proficient, training will be given
* Previous exposure to Construction Planning and Programming (MS Project or similar) is desirable, training will be given
* Previous industry experience, up to 5 years
* Graduates are encouraged to apply; our Client will provide mentorship and training.
