The Stroke Association is the leading UK stroke charity. They have been leading the fight against stroke for over 20 years. They influence and campaign to improve stroke care and support people to make the best possible recovery. 

Position: Content and Development Manager 
Location: London 
Contract type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract 9 months ( with possibility of extension) 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £28,495.81 to £31,743.41

About the Role: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated content manager to join the digital team to lead on the content and development of My Stroke Guide: our self-management website designed by stroke survivors, for stroke survivors. 

This is an exciting time to be part of My Stroke Guide as we evolve it from a commissioned-only service and make it available to everyone affected by stroke across the UK and beyond. 

Reporting to the Head of Digital and working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including technical providers and stroke survivors, you`ll ensure the successful creation and implementation of new site features and future versions. 

Line-managing the Production Coordinator and My Stroke Guide Helpline Officer, you`ll evaluate use of My Stroke Guide, including our dedicated enquiry line for users, and oversee the usability testing of content and features to ensure they meet the needs of those affected by stroke. 

About You: 

With demonstrable experience of producing engaging content, you`ll ensure accurate, high-quality information is accessible and is produced and updated on schedule. You`ll lead on identifying and writing new content, and oversee the production of all multimedia resources on the website. 

You may have experience of the following: Content Manager, Third Sector, Charity, NFP, Project Management, Campaign Manager, Researcher, Research, Project Manager, Development Manager, Research Manager, Content Development, Marketing etc.
