Deputy Manager – Supported Living

REQUIRED IN LINCOLNSHIRE VIA BRC

LOCATION:  Lincoln

SALARY:       £31,181 + Benefits

HOURS:        37.5

BRC are recruiting for an exciting deputy manager (RNLD/RMN)  post for a leading national charity that provides support predominantly within mental health and learning disabilities. 

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for service users of the project and in the management and development of the care home.

You will lead on the promotion of evidence based clinical practice and the development of a person centred service and will also be required to deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead the care team ensuring person centred planning is central to the process ensuring rehabilitation, recovery and social inclusion

• Implement a multi-agency approach.

• Adhere to current statutory responsibilities including the NMC , National Service Frameworks, National Standards Health and Social Care Act and the Care Quality Commission

• Implement and evaluate individual programmes of care including risk management, independence and social inclusion.

• Participate in the setting, monitoring and evaluation of standards of care and clinical audit and contribute to the clinical governance processes.

• Manage a team ensuring company policies, procedures and processes are implemented and provide an efficient and effective handover to all team members.

• Maintain accurate records and write reports in line with the service level agreement

Essential Requirements:

o          Must be a qualified and practising nurse with an up to date PIN – preferably a RNLD

o          Supervisory experience, including providing Clinical Supervision

o          Experience of working within the field of learning disability and mental health

o          Knowledge of NMC code of conduct
