Finance Administrator £18,971 Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our client based in Birmingham. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefits including free parking.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in finance admin duties. This is an immensely challenging and rewarding role where attention to detail and credibility are key.

Main Duties of the Finance Assistant include:

* Carrying out bank reconciliations for all of the company’s bank accounts ensuring efficient and effective processing of all transactions.
* Support the Payroll administrator with inputting of timesheets provided by departments on a weekly basis including issuing P45s, starters and leavers and issuing pay slips when required.
* Supporting the Cashier with daily banking duties as required and assist with cash sheets on a daily basis.
* Assisting with Finance projects including the Access Dimensions finance applications.

To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant, you will have:

Excellent academics and proof of ongoing professional training.

Solid previous finance experience

Software packages – Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to work with limited supervision

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a multitude of different personalities.
