£18,015 to £25,448

C&K Careers Ltd is looking for a finance professional who has some innovative and practical commercial ideas to help the company in an ever changing, fast paced environment.We offer excellent terms and conditions and support further development.

The successful candidate will :

·Assess and evaluate our Finance system and produce recommendations for improvement to ensure it is utilized to its full potential;

·Undertake financial and asset related projects and process improvements;

·Cost, risk assess and evaluate new products, services and commercial activities;

·Be responsible for the management and monitoring of the payroll process;

·Maintain and continually improve our Internal Control Systems;

·Assist the Financial Controller with the effective delivery of an Accounting Service to the company.

Candidates must:

·Be a qualified Accounting Technician - AAT or NVQ 4 in a finance related subject or part qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA;

·Have experience of delivering a payroll process;

·Have a practical understanding of budgetary control processes and experience in preparing financial budgets, forecasts and reports;

·Have a thorough understanding of fundamental accounting principles and transactions;

·Have highly proficient IT skills with Office, financial and other business systems, including MS Excel to, at least, intermediate level.

Additionally, excellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised are all essential.Experience of utilising project management tools and techniques is desired.
