Central Employment are delighted to be working with a global organisation based in Glasgow as they look to recruit a Sales Consultant. Based from their impressive showroon, the Sales Consultant will report into the Showroom sales manager, and will be tasked in delievering first class customer experience and be sales driven.

Sales Consultants typical working hours will be 5 Days over 7 Days Rota

Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

Sales Consultant role:

Receiving all incoming calls and transferring to relevant person/department
Taking messages and ensuring the are passed on to the relevant person accurately
Greeting clients as they enter the Showroom
Controlling the Visitor Book
Processing card payments when required
Mailing out receipts and invoices
Ensuring doors are opened/locked at appropriate times
Keeping record of daily footfall
Printing Showroom literature when required
Ensuring Daily Checklist is completed at times stated
Send out brochure requests to clients
Sending and franking mail
Any other ad hoc duties required
Demonstrating and presenting products
Establishing new business
Reviewing sales performance
Aiming to achieve monthly and annual targets.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Ascertain customers’ needs and want
Manage point-of-sale processes
Keep up to date with product information
Accurately describe product features and benefits
Follow all companies’ policies and procedures

Skills and Interests:

Good communication skills both writing and verbal
Bathroom design sales experience
Worked in customer facing sales role
Retail sales knowledge
Excellent telephone manner
Be of smart appearance and have a professional manner at all times
Be self motivated but also able to work as part of a team
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload
Have a positive attitude
Have initiative and be able to work without prompting
Be trustworthy and have discretion when handling confidential information
Proven working experience in retail sales
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Track record of over-achieving sales quota
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service focus
Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
Basic administration skills
