There is an opening for an experienced Java Developer to join a company that are changing the way that payments are processed. You will be joining the team that are working on a Greenfield build that will drive business growth forward.

As a Java Developer you will be responsible for a number of daily tasks. Initially you will be working on adding enhanced and new features to their application, this will give you the exposure you need to learn the ins and outs for their current product and the work environment. Once you have gained knowledge on their core application you will then move across to working on a number of exciting projects, including breaking down the application down to microservices or working on a Greenfield build, an entirely new application, using core spring and jms, that will open up a new are for this business to operate in.

The company have grown rapidly since starting in the late 2000's and now offer a customer list of some of the biggest company and charity names in the UK and North America. While being well established they also maintain the flexibility of a start-up and continue to look at the right tech for any build.

There are some experience requirements that the right Java developer will be able to display for this role. You will have a good understanding of OOP and clean coding, what makes clean code and the concepts that underpin this. You will be ale to break down problems and solve then in the simplest way possible. You will be comfortable running unit testing and have an understanding for RESTful Web Services. Any experience with Spring, Tomcat and JMS would be great but a basic knowledge of what they are is all that is required.
