An incredibly innovative company in Central London with a diverse business model with multiple revenue streams, is looking to add on board an experienced Product Manager to lead a cross-disciplinary agile Product team, and line manage and mentor a junior Product Manager.

You will deputise for the Head of Product and contribute to the overall strategic roadmap - both current requirements, future enhancements, and additional features. As a Lead Product Manager you will also have to be business-savvy: as part of your responsibilities you will become the Subject Matter Expert, generate competitive insight and identify partner opportunities.

You will take ownership of managing the products fully end to end from design through to QA. We are looking for a HANDS-ON Product Manager - you will not be afraid to talk to the actual users (whether it is business or customers), gather requirements when necessary, find out exactly what they want, suggest the best solution, and then collaborate with the BA to present the best user stories. The ideal Product Manager will look something like this:

* Previous experience working on some high-transactional/user-heavy cross-platform applications
* We want someone who is UX and UI conscious, looking to delight the customer with a seamless beautiful experience (although you will not be expected to know how to code yourself)
* But also someone who has a good understanding of how front end integrates with a complex back-end (e.g. full e-commerce journey, secure data, high-traffic APIs, subscription-based products, IT systems etc.)
* You will work in an Agile Scrum environment, with cross-disciplinary teams of Dev, QA, UX Designer, Data Analyst, BA and Jnr Product Manager, so needless to say you would have had previous experience working under Agile and be approachable for all level stakeholders.
* Line manage one direct report (a junior Product Manager) and potentially mentor/manage 2-3 other people as we grow the team.

We are looking for someone highly ambitious to bridge the gap between Business and Tech, ideally with a background in working on complex user-heavy high-transactional websites. Your job will be to make sure the products are in line with the overall business strategy, and offer new ideas to make the product line more competitive based on user feedback, prioritising customer experience.
