Sewell Wallis are exclusively recruiting for a highly regarded professional services firm in Leeds City Centre. They are a world class operator who are held in high regard and boast a prestigious client base.

They are seeking to appoint a career orientated professional who has a number of years post qualified experience and now seeking to progress into a middle management position where you will be responsible for upholding the high standards of this industry leading finance function.

Responsibilities:

*Project accounting and forecasting for relevant business units, working closely with project managers to ensure that forecasts are accurate.
*Business unit accounting and forecasting, working closely with business unit heads to develop a deep understanding of the business.
*Assisting business unit heads in the preparation of annual budgets for relevant business units, building up costs from project level.
*Liaising with the Internal Tax team on international tax matters relating to projects in relevant business units.
*Liaising with international accountancy firms in countries where international projects are present and ensuring compliance of local branch/legal entities.
*Managing accounting databases for multiple entities, taking control of foreign exchange gains and losses, intercompany account reconciliations and control account reconciliations.
*Monitoring of debtor positions, liaising with finance managers and documenting and reporting to finance director where required.
*Preparing and posting intercompany invoices where relevant.
*Provision of ad hoc support to the Financial Controller.
