Regulatory Officer - GDP experience needed
Location: Watford
Hours: 3 days minimum available (Ideally looking for someone full time Monday - Friday)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 based on experience and pro rata.
Must hold a full UK drivers licence and have own vehicle.

Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company based in Watford who has a small but passionate team working in a professional, dynamic environment. They are looking for someone who has at least 2-3 years' experience in a support role and has the ability to lead not follow.

They are looking for someone who has Regulatory experience in GDP and GMP as they are a pharmaceutical wholesaler, retail pharmacy is different.

Holiday: 22 days, adding 1 day every 2 years until reaching 27 days

Job responsibilities:
Assist with Managing and developing the core quality systems including:-

* The change control system, monitoring and tracking of all change requests.
* Maintaining the deviation, complaint and CAPA logs and follow up on the completion of corrective and preventative actions where required.
* Managing the annual self-inspection program, perform internal audits and follow up including monitoring and tracking completion of subsequent actions.
* Managing oversight of the supplier and the customer assurance systems and assist with assurance activities (i.e. external audits, meetings).
* Manage, and develop the Quality Management System.
Ensure that quality related tasks are prioritised appropriately.
* Ensure prompt responses to the requests of other teams.

Person Specification:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent grasp of English are essential
* A high degree of attention to detail and strong organisational skills are required.
* Ability to be confident, persuasive and persistent in order to get the job done is required.
* High quality and compliance values required but with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
* Self-motivation but ability to work well in a team is required.
* Proven track record in a pharmaceutical environment.
* Ability to travel within the UK is essential.

Key Performance Indicators:

* No valid Major or Critical Observation from external agency inspections directly attributable to the management of the document control system.
* Approved documents to be issued and distributed to all relevant recipients in a timely manner.
* No loss of traceability due to errors in version control or difficulties with document retrieval.
* Publication of KPIs
* RP and Directors kept informed of quality issues and any overdue actions (e.g. overdue change controls) communicated to management.
* RP and Directors kept informed of internal & external audit schedules, if audits are overdue or follow actions not completed.
* Contractor files kept up to date and the RP and Directors kept informed when TAs and licences are due for renewal.
