Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant - Reading

CORETX are currently looking for a Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team based in Reading. The Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support, design and consultancy for external customer Information Technology solutions to be delivered, hosted, managed and supported by CORETX. This role has specific responsibility for CORETX portfolio of Unified Communications services, as such will be required to provide pre-sales technical support to the Sales Consultants for opportunities with a Telephony requirement.

The Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant must be able to understand customer's existing and desired voice and network environments in order to develop a strategy for on premise and cloud/hybrid based solutions. The role will require excellent knowledge of hosted and on premise telephony systems, Cisco and/or Microsoft UC applications, Networking and Security technologies. An understanding of Contact Centre, Gamma Horizon/Broadsoft platforms, Servers, virtualisation, and Active Directory is also of benefit. The role will require the design of comprehensive on-premise, hybrid and datacentre based solutions for corporate customers.

The key focus will be in the following areas:

* Business voice systems, Hosted Telephony, Unified Communications, VoIP and SIP
* Cisco Communications Manager, Gateways and SIP
* Contact Centre - Enghouse (Zeacom), Cisco UCCX
* Microsoft - Skype for Business, Exchange and Active Directory
* Cisco & Meraki Networking - LAN, WAN, Wireless and Mobility
* Microsoft/Cisco Integrations (Enterprise Voice, Video, Messaging)

Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant Key Areas of Responsibilities:

* Establish requirements from a business and technical perspective
* Understand customer environments and the process of migrating to the new design
* Understand all aspects of network, UC and infrastructure assessment processes in preparation for solution scope and design
* Support sales in proposing solutions and services to meet requirements
* Maintain close working relationships with relevant contacts at all times
* Perform product/concept demonstrations and presentations to support sales process
* Generate professional documentation, including sales proposals, scope of works, design specifications and consultancy documents
* Ensure that all activities are scoped and priced accurately to achieve profit projections
* On occasions, perform fee-earning business and technical consultancy services

Unified Communications Pre-Sales Consultant Key Skills:

* Hosted and On-premise Unified Communications systems
* Cisco Call Manager
* MicrosoftSkype for Business
* Enghouse application software including Contact Centre
* Gamma Horizon/Broadsoft platforms
* LAN/WAN Networking and Security with an emphasis on Telephony including QoS
* Enterprise applications (Collaboration, messaging, web services, etc.)
* Cloud, Virtualisation and Compute
* Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
* Familiarity with creating and managing complex BOMs, (e.g. using Cisco Commerce Workspace)
* Monitoring, application and performance tools
* ITIL v3 foundation or Equivalent knowledge in service management
* Existing Vendor accreditations an advantage, especially Cisco and Microsoft
