An exciting opportunity for a QA / Quality Manager within the food, FMCG or packaging, industry.
£38,000 - £40,000
The Quality Manager will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for:
Undertaking planned audits to ensure HACCP, Hygiene, GMP, Training and System compliance is maintained.  
To ensure that operational standards within the manufacturing unit meet the requirements of BRC  
Liase with internal suppliers to ensure inputs are maintained that deliver food quality and safety
Non Conformance process from raising, actioning and completion
Provide documentation control for traceability exercises
Manage and organise internal calibration verification
Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
Preparing for and attending daily production meetings
Provide documentation control for traceability exercises
Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
Respond pro-actively to quality issues such as internal/external produce failures, audit non-conformances and ensure effective preventative and corrective actions are taken
Manage the department to meet the needs of the company and to ensure that the resources are focused on meeting the needs of the customer
The successful Quality Manager will have the ability to manage others and work within a team and hold an Intermediate HACCP qualification along with knowledge of CCP Verification, BRC Audits, Hygiene Systems with Auditing experience (Hygiene, HACCP, GMP, QMS)
