Electrical Supervisor - Sutton

We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Supervisor for our client who are a huge name in M&E.

Although our client do both resi and commercial, the first initial project will be residential.

The role and requirements, and personal specifications for the position are as outlined below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to and followed on site at all times.
• Work with H&S Manager to ensure Health & Safety Regulations are followed on site and safe systems of work are in operation at all times.
• Undertaking the company’s Induction and H&S Induction - managing and maintaining the company’s standards at all times.
• Responsible for site operations, ensuring PPE compliance with all the company’s personnel on site; adequate access/egress is in place.
• Management and supervision of all on site personnel.
• Ensure effective co-ordination of install.
• Work with Project Manager in relation to:
- Formulation of procurement schedules
- Procurement strategies
- Value engineering
- Development of contractor design portion from specifications
- Production and review of technical submittals aligned to spec etc.
- Packaging of works/ procurement - including preparing order and sub contract packages including analysing costs and making recommendations for ordering.
- Cost control at all levels
• Manage plant movement/requirements and delivery of materials/equipment.
• Plan labour and material requirements at least two weeks in advance, ensuring adequate stock/materials are available on site at all times.
• Planning, forecasting, preparing, monitoring and producing reports, programmes and the like (internal and external) in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Ensuring the company’s best interest are taken care of at all times
• Keep daily records and written records all meetings
• On-going liaison with clients, main contractor and other trades personnel as and when required.
• Attendance at project related and management meetings as required.
• Managing daily/ weekly deadlines as required.
• Other items as may be directed to carry out.

The salary for this role is between £50k - £55k per year plus package (fares paid, expenses, pension, private healthcare, 23 days holiday and bank holidays).
