A national care provider supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Complex and Mental Health needs in living, residential environments and in their own homes is seeking a Support Worker based in Walkford, Dorset to join its expanding team.

As the Support Worker, your duties will include:

• Both practical and personal tasks such as helping the individual to visit family and friends.
• Weekly shopping.
• Assisting with dressing and personal care.
• Administering medication to name but a few.

An ideal Support Worker will need to have:

• A caring and positive nature.
• Be calm and tolerant, as the person you are helping may at times be challenging, however, this is the disability and not the person; empathy is essential.
• Previous experience is not necessary as we will give you all the training you need.

Full and part time, bank and apprenticeship positions are available in Walkford, Dorset, which may include evenings, weekends, nights or split shifts.

In return for this, you will receive an hourly rate of £8.00 - £8.10 per hour dependent upon experience.
