Job description:

Hales Homecare are currently recruiting for an Out of Hours Co-ordinator to work in our Homecare Hub in Ipswich.

As an Out of Hours Coordinator your role will include:

ü Answering the phone to both service users and the care delivery team promptly and efficiently

ü Dealing with queries on a priority basis, much of which will be time critical

ü Communicating with the care team to cover calls as required for sickness, absences and delays

ü Monitoring the electronic care worker Log In system and reacting quickly to issues

ü Providing reports and data as required by the management team and our stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

ü Experience working on database systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office

ü Experience working in the care sector

ü Proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

ü Compassion and understanding of the challenges of the care sector

ü Calm, polite telephone manner


Minimum of Level 2, preferably Level 3 in Health and Social Care

The Homecare Hub operates from 5.30pm to 11pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 11pm at weekends. You will be expected to work on a rota of c28hours per week within these hours with alternate weekends off
