We are currently working on this exciting opportunity to take up the position of Business Development Director for this leading provider of debt recovery services. They provide compliance and enforcement services, mainly targeting local government departments across the UK. As Business Development Director you will have a number of responsibilities that are key to the company's growth. You will be expected to implement effective sales and business development strategies for you and your team to meet and exceed your revenue and new business targets. You will manage and control key strategic accounts, and assist your sales teams on important new business deals. This is very much a 'player/manager' role that will break down to be about 60% business development and 40% managerial responsibilities.

Key requirements:

* Experience selling into local government is ideal
* Management experience is a must
* Comfortable working on large and complicated deals
* Charismatic and ambitious
