This role reports to the Invoicing Supervisor

Job Description

• Run reports for daily jobs ready for invoicing
• Ensure supporting documentation and correct PO has been received
• Ensure job is within spend limit
• Price up jobs using customer price lists/ schedule of rates and process through the client's system accurately (including preparing jobs for consolidated invoicing)
• Focus on profit margins
• Maintain workload and activity level to ensure all billing is processed without delay and in line with month end cut-off date
• Process invoices through specific customers portals as required
• Deal with any queries and issues in relation to the invoicing of your specific clients internally and externally
• Ad hoc tasks that may be required in relation to customer invoicing.
• Deal with telephone queries in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover during illness or holidays to ensure consistent activity levels across the invoicing team

Experience and Knowledge:

• Sales ledger experience
• Strong numerical skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing high volume of transactions
• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Attention to detail
