If you are a manager with experience of working within Children's Services and you have a passion for care, then we want to hear from you. Our client's Aberdeenshire based service is urgently looking to recruit a manager with a proven track record of leadership, service development, business development, organisational representation at a strategic level, and in depth understanding and experience of the management of services operating within the fields of child well-being and child protection. The post is temporary until at least 31st March 2018 and the successful applicant will enjoy a challenging but rewarding role given the opportunity to make a difference to people's lives.

The successful applicant will be responsible for :

* Leading, managing and coordinating the activities of the service in accordance with company strategic objectives to achieve positive outcomes with and for children, young people and their families
* The shape and develop services in line with agreed objectives, respond to review of needs, gaps, and trends ensuring service user involvement, and to oversee support services to service users in line with service delivery requirements
* Managing a complex budget of funding from Health, Local Authority, Scottish Government, and others including grant making trusts, and to manage a complex and extensive list of stakeholders
* Ensuring effective service delivery with a specific focus on outcomes for children/young people engaged with the service

In order to be considered for this post, you must :

* Have experience in managing key external relationships
* Have the ability to review and analyse budgets and financial reports
* Have knowledge of Child Centred Family Support models
* Have excellent written and oral communication skills
