Capita PIP are currently looking to recruit an Asset Administrator who will work as part of the Internal Asset Management Team, within the larger IT Team.

The role is to assist the Asset Manager in ensuring all assets are accounted for and maintain a comprehensive record of those assets and the users who have been allocated them. There is also an element of IT work.

Key Responsibilities
* Assigning and setting up smartphones, maintaining accurate records of all Assets
* Process new starter/ leaver requests & respond to all queries in the shared inbox - Data Entry
* Update and maintain an accurate asset register
* Create PIPCS/PIPAT accounts - Liaise with DWP
* Assign DWP access tokens, Phones, Mobility Kits
* Smoke Test laptops to ensure all environments and laptop are functioning
* IT issues - Help resolve any IT issues that fall under PIP IT i.e. locked soft tokens, Locked RSA tokens, Mobile Phone issues
* Update all leavers onto asset register and arrange for accounts/ tokens to be deleted/ suspended

Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Hard working - this role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate the ability to work at a consistently high level throughout the day, and be flexible in their working hours to help the IT department to resolve issues when required and to ensure delivery of IT equipment to new starters and training cohorts on time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Communication is key in this role. The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate with various departments of the PIP business and wider Capita and 3rd party supply teams including the DWP
* Willingness to learn new skills and improve current ones - the successful candidate will be asked to perform a wide variety of tasks in this role, and must be adaptable and willing to learn in order to meet this challenge
* Organised - This role will require the successful candidate to re-organise their workload throughout the day to meet changing priorities
* Works well as part of a team - the successful candidate will need to work closely with other PIP and Capita team members as well as other staff to ensure the successful resolution of IT issues

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
* Organisational Skills - Excellent organisational skills Is essential.
* Smartphone understanding - A good understanding of how smartphones work including Android and Windows
* MS Office skills - Good understanding of how to use the basic MS Office suite of software is essential (MS Word and MS Excel in particular)
* Strong General IT skills - this position is fundamentally a IT support role therefore general knowledge and experience with IT systems is key
* Knowledge of PIP and its systems - prior knowledge Capita PIP and its associated systems is highly desirable.
