Senior Administrator – Guildford

£23,000 pa
Bonus of up to 35% of basic salary (after 6 month probation period)
Pension (after 6 month probation period)
20 days holiday, increasing by 1 day every 6 months to a maximum of 25 days
Car parking space if needed

The role is provide Senior Administration support to two Account Managers, whose role is to look after the day to day needs of an extensive customer base within Financial Services industry. You must have experience of liaising with customers over the telephone, problem solving and following laid down processes without supervision.

Role:
• Sending reminder letters to customers for overdue invoices.
• Sending statements.
• Sending copies of invoices
• Chasing overdue invoices for payment (this will be over 50% of the typical day)
• Liaise with external organisations including solicitors regarding potential court cases.
• Setting up new client accounts within a timely fashion
• Monitoring credit worthiness of businesses.
• Requesting up to date financial information from customers.
• Compiling monthly reports for management.
• Covering for Account Managers during absence

Experience:
• Experience of dealing with customers by phone – absolutely essential
• Comprehensive IT experience and ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Used to managing and prioritising tasks
• Experience of chasing overdue invoices for payment would be useful
• Happy to work without constant supervision – someone who just gets on with the job
• Background in Finance Department or Finance company advantageous but not essential
