Our client, an established educational organisation, is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team for 3 months. This Accounts Assistant will assist the Finance Manager in the day-to-day duties of the Accounts Department; the successful individual will have a variety of responsibilities, including Bookkeeping.

Main Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping
• Process purchase invoices, expense forms and payments
• Process sales invoices
• Maintaining spread sheets
• Reconciling bank accounts and Direct Debit Mandates
• Assist with Credit Control
• Manage the petty cash
• General Administration tasks including filing and managing the post

Successful Candidate:

• Knowledge and experience of double entry bookkeeping
• Good knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to work within a team and on own initiative
