Business Development Executive
Salary: £18-25k DOE + Commission & Benefits

The Role of the Business Development Executive:

Working as part of our busy Sales and Marketing team as a Business Development Executive you will be tasked with developing leads and opportunities via telemarketing, email, search and social media.
You will ensure data list information is accurate and up to date, begin conversations and discussions with stakeholders and decision makers at all levels and also source your own leads through proactive sector by sector research.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:

• To generate new leads and opportunities via telemarketing as well as
LinkedIn research.
• To follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate prospect
leads by telephone, identifying and qualifying opportunities for new
• To interact with decision makers at all levels to identify new and
emerging business opportunities via telephone as well as other
• To efficiently progress existing opportunities with follow up calls/emails;
• To research for new business, leads and opportunities using all
available tools and services in order to identify and procure potential or
new business clientele;
• Regularly and proactively liaise with Sales and Marketing team with
regard to current priorities, initiatives and developments;
• Data ownership including the maintenance and communication of
agreed data standards, on-going data cleansing, data transformation
and loading and regular monitoring of data quality;

Skills required for the role of Business Development Executive:

• Excellent telephone manner, customer service and communication
• 1/2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of social media and search functionality,
particularly LinkedIn
• Strong questioning skills
• Self-discipline and target driven
