Position: Care Worker
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: Between £9-10 per hour
Job Type: Shift Work (Monday to Friday including the occasional Weekend)

Job Role:
I am currently looking for a passionate, experienced care worker. You must have PMVA or MAYBO training and able to work with service users who have either mental health, challenging behaviour, Dementia or Learning disabilities in residential service in the and around the Canterbury, Kent area.

Your role would be to motivate and encourage service users to be independent whilst supporting them with social, emotional and physical tasks and activities including personal care. As a care Worker, you will be working as a team with the other staff to provide a high quality of person centered care to each service user. Communicating effectively with service users, families and members of staff to find their likes and preferences.

You will:
* MUST hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)
* MUST have at least 6 months UK experience in the care sector
* MUST be happy to provide personal care
* MUST be flexible (weekdays and weekends)

Please note:
If you have a DBS that is registered with the online update service, we can offer you work more quickly. You must be able to provide 5 years references and either have all mandatory training in date, or be prepared to complete this prior to starting your assignment.
