Energy Business Development Manager - South

*£30,000 - £35,000 per annum + commission

Are you a tenacious Business Development Manager who is used to operating within the highly competitive channel sector? Are you used to achieving challenging KPIs, building strong partner relationships and skilled at helping partners sell contracts? Then this is the PERFECT role for you! You will be part of a small team of field based BDMs who are adept at creating relationships with partners and developing new partners from the telecoms or TPI channels.

Responsibilities will include:

*Motivate existing partners to sell energy contracts to their existing base

*Achieve challenging KPIs, focussing on revenue growth

*Grow the number of partners

*Support and training partners and their sales teams on how to sell energy

*Devise acquisition strategies through effective and documented account planning

Skills and Experience Required:

*Demonstrate a thorough understanding of channel sales

*Strong achievement drive, self-motivation and relationship management capability

*Analytical thinking with strong planning and organisational skills

*Ability to influence and have impact at a senior level

*Proven sales and negotiation skills with partners

*Numerate with ability to solve detailed problems and use own initiative

This role is 80% field based and 20% based in the Newbury office.
