Innovation Manager / New Product Development Manager.

My client, a leading Media company, are looking to fill an exciting new role in the department that will offer high level Product strategy guidance to this $1bn turnover organisation.

Utilising actionable insight, you will be responsible for driving the business to create profitable new business under their existing brands. It requires a strategic thinker who can help identify opportunities and as well as challenges for their brands.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Market identification
* Market scoping and sizing (consumer / business trends and their potential across the UK and further audience)
* Consumer exploration (this includes writing surveys and speaking to consumers)
* Product development work (from sourcing consumers for UX testing to carrying this out and contributing ideas)
* Positioning and communication development
* Basic analytics of digital data from trial products

Useful Knowledge, skills and experience:

* Ideally the candidate has worked in insight roles supporting NPD and is practical, pragmatic and enjoys working across multiple projects with different stakeholders
* They must be independent, personable and delivery focussed
* Strategic thinking
* Problem solver
* Practical primary insight skills across qual and quant
* Excellent desk research skills - using the likes of Mintel, Foresight Factory, eMarketer, TGI etc
