We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a very well established and vibrant company in the Swindon area.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to support the Accounting Group in ensuring that Company accounts are reported in a timely manner as per Company directives and also to assist all other groups with any relevant analysis work for accounting requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

Month end accounting

Management Accountant for Parts group including:

Period End
• Margin analysis preparation
• Investigate variances to budgets
• Raising & reconciling accrual/prepayment accounts
• Reporting variance to budget
• Assisting with reporting

Forecasting
Assisting with budget preparation

Stock
Manage integrity of stock and accuracy of management systems
and balance sheet.
Review of cost variances and management of inventory valuation.

Auditing
SOX audits internal controls improvements.

Adhoc
Ensure processes, procedures and systems are properly documented
Support the annual audit.

Person Specification
Skills & Experience required.

Must have:
• Accounting knowledge - Management Accounting
• Minimum AAT qualified preferably part qualified CIMA
• Must be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organisation skills.
• Experience with various accounts packages:
• Fully conversant with Microsoft office (Especially Excel).
• Full and clean UK driving license
