An insuretech organisation (part of the fastest-growing start-up sector now just breaking into the UK), are looking for a Senior Engineer/ Technical Lead (C#, ASP.NET MVC), to come on board and assume responsibility for day-to-day running of their development function, with a remit for implementing new practices and methodologies, from their picturesque location on the river Thames.

This organisation have carved out a real niche within the insurance industry, with their focus on technology giving them a pioneering way of establishing a more precise to calculate insurance costings. As they continue to innovate, they are looking for an experienced .NET engineer to act as the CTO's right-hand man (or woman!), leading the .NET function in a time when they are migrating services over to the cloud.

You'll come from a .NET background and have a history of building business-critical applications in C#, ASP.NET MVC. Given the industry, some knowledge of regulatory compliance would certainly be welcome, and it is necessary that the right applicant has either led or mentored development teams. You'll have knowledge of agile processes with demonstrable examples of implementing best practices within development teams you've worked in.
