ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER Supported Living – Woking/Guilford - £23,000 per annum
About the Role
We are looking for Assistant Team Leader to join our friendly Woking/Guildford Supported Living team based in Surrey.

The Assistant Team Leader should ensure that the individual needs of people we support are met to the highest standard. To support the Team Leader to ensure that staff are trained to meet the needs of the people we support and their training complies with the Care Quality Commission standards. To support and deputise for the Team Leader in developing the staff team and to carry out management tasks as directed by the Team Leader to ensure the service is delivered to a high standard and meets and exceeds the Care Quality commission standards in line with the values of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• To work flexibly over a 7-day period to meet the needs of the service and to ensure the quality of service provision can be monitored.
• To participate in a rota outside of office hours as part of the ‘’on call’’ service for which a separate payment is made.
• To support the Team Leader in ensuring that the service is compliant and exceeds the standards of the Care Quality Commission.
• To ensure that all Health and Safety Checks are carried out as specified and to report any concerns to the Team Leader. To ready, sign and adhere to Health & Safety Risk Assessments in place for the service and to ensure that all staff implements these in their work.
• To assist the Team Leader in completing accurate management reports/ payroll on a monthly basis and as requested. To complete these reports in the absence of the Team Leader.
• To participate in team meetings and assist the Team Leader in developing the agenda and ensuring accurate minutes are kept and actions followed up.
• To ensure that you read and implement all policies and procedures and that the staff team adhere to these and to report any concerns to the Team Leader.
• To understand the budget requirements and to support the Team Leader to ensure that the service is delivered within the parameters of the budget.
• To provide direct support to people as part of the staff rota.
• To support and develop staff to take on the link worker role.
• To ensure that the people we support receive appropriate health and medical input as required to meet their needs.
• To ensure that safe medication systems are in place to comply with the Medication Policy.
• To undertake additional duties as necessary to meet the individual needs or service as directed by the Team Leader.
