My client is a flourishing business that is venture capital backed. They have huge, exciting growth ambitions over the next few years. Their culture is important to them and they require staff that have a desire to help shape the future of their business. This role is based in their office located centrally in Manchester and you will be selling an IT Solutions Software Service.

Role responsibilities:

• Selling IT Solutions Software
• Secure new business by making B2B outbound calls
• You will be talking to new prospects on a daily basis, arranging meetings and online demo's
• You will also be responsible for generating your own leads using a number of strategic search tools
• The role will involve Account Management providing a consultative service to clients
• Ensure sales are maximised and sales opportunities are identified, particularly in relation to up-sell opportunities
• Have a consultative sales approach, finding out needs and representing the business in a professional manner at all times
• Working on new business strategies for future company growth with senior management


• Minimum of 2 years’ outbound sales and B2B account management experience is essential
• Ideally you will be from an IT Sales background (recruitment background would be advantageous)
• Proven track record of exceeding targets
• A creative ability, coupled with an engaging personality and excellent interpersonal skills to relate to customers at the appropriate level (speaking with MDs, FDs, CEOs etc)
• Computer literate with an analytical mind
• The interpersonal skills necessary to develop business relationships
• Highly self-motivated, strong work ethic, with the ability to motivate others is essential
