Operations Manager / Director: The essentials.

* Strong performance & people management skills, including the ability to motivate staff.
* In depth understanding and knowledge of government funding streams and contracts.
* Hairdressing/Barbering Experience at NVQ Level 2/3 (Minimum)
* Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA,)
* Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, )

* Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment In Hairdressing/Barbering
* Project management experience
* Development of teams
* Occupational history and competence within the industry

* Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)

Operations Manager / Director: The role.

* You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the Hairdressing Centre, with responsibility for over 400 learners, and around 30 members of staff to include IQA Team, Tutor/Assessors, and Administrative teams.
* Driving performance on Apprenticeship delivery and as part of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for developing the business and driving positive change, systems and processes within this Midlands based organisation, supporting operational managers to improve performance.
* As Operations Manager / Director, you will be fully immersed in the business, and will be required to be fully involved in OFSTED inspections in the future.
* You will also be fully responsible for the Performance Management of the staff under your remit, and be expected to ensure the quality of teaching & learning is maintained to such a level that the OFSTED grading stays at OUTSTANDING.
* This role is offered on an initial 12 month contract with a view to turning permanent thereafter.
* £35,000 to £37,000 per annum
* 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Xmas Shutdown
* Business Mileage - 40p per mile
