Are you a compassionate person who is able to provide quality care for clients with complex care needs?

Prestige Nursing + Care are looking for compassionate individuals who are able to provide quality care for clients with specialist complex needs in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

You'll be helping a wide variety of clients, for example, people with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, individulas with learning difficulties, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. You will be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team providing the highest level of quality care.

This will include a range of duties that will form part of a care plan that has been previously agreed with the service user and/or their families.

Each care plan is individualised to the service user and their needs which may include:

Personal care, social/recreational needs, nutritional needs - includes feeding and gastrostomy care, physical needs - moving & handling and assisitance with day to day living.

Duties of the Job

* Prompting medication (care workers)
* Assist with activities of daily living, domestic duties and personal care
* Ensure health, safety and welfare of clients
* Record Keeping - maintaining up to date reports such as care plans
* Maintain regular communication with branch manager
* Provide complex care
* Respect the individuality and confidentiality of each client
* To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
