We are proud to be representing a market leading manufacturer. Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The position available is based at their facility in Nottinghamshire.

Initially the ideal candidate will be required to install, maintain and test electrical appliances whilst operating the correct usage of certified equipment.

Duties include but are not limited to:
-Attend breakdowns when they occur, diagnose electrical faults and apply the most methodical method of repair
-Ability to read technical drawings adhering to ISO 9001 standards
-Install replacement components when necessary and dispose of faulty parts safely
-Carry out full check upon completion of maintenance repair, to ensure that identified faults has been fully rectified
-Carry our routine maintenance checks as per scheduled
-Ensure that fault reports are written up correctly using company software system
-Ensure all work carried out adheres to company health and safety standards
-Order parts for repair from external suppliers when necessary
-Provide a consistently high level of customer service
-Carry out work within the in house workshop, when not out on maintenance calls
-Supervise apprentice Electrician, offering guidance and support when appropriate
-Liaising with Line Manager/Team Leaders when appropriate

To be successful in this rule you will:
-Be apprentice trained in a relevant discipline
-City and Guilds 17th Edition or similar in relevant field
-Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and determine most appropriate course of action
-Maintain excellent communication skills both written and verbally
-Ability to prioritise and forward plan workloads
-Delegate tasks to apprentices in order to adhere to deadlines
-Full clean driving licence
-Highly flexible and able to work continental shift patterns
-Previous experience working with PLC controllers, apparatus and fixtures
-Knowledge of CNC machinery desirable, but full training provided
-This role involves working 39 hours per week split across mornings, afternoons and nights after a period of training on mornings and afternoons.

There is an additional shift premium on weekends and on attendance bonus.

This role offers a shift allowance on top of the basic salary.
