Employment Solicitor (4+ Yrs. PQE)
My client is a leading, full-service, commercial law firm that has an excellent reputation and has numerous rankings in the legal 500 and Chambers listings. They are currently looking for an Employment Solicitor with circa 4 years PQE to join their Employment team based in Bristol.
An opening has emerged for a junior to mid-level Employment Lawyer with circa 4 years PQE with a good grounding in advising commercial clients on a variety of Employment matters. Working closely with the Head of Department, the chosen Employment Solicitor will make a significant contribution to the development of the Employment team, as well as advising a predominantly corporate client base on a wide range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
Within this role, this Employment Solicitor will handle a respondent based caseload comprising both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will work closely with clients and colleagues and you should have a keen eye for service delivery. You will be involved in drafting contracts, agreements, policies and procedures as well as providing corporate support and advising on all employment-related issues connected with mergers, acquisitions, contracting out and the effect of TUPE.
The successful candidate will have: -
- Solid experience working in an established and recognised Employment Department.
- A client following or at least a proven track record of developing new client relationships.
- Excellent client care skills.
- Commercial acumen.
