An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Executive to join a growing organisation based in Central Wimbledon.

You will be directly responsible for the growth of the company by improving the sales performance through outbound sales activity. You will focus on generating new business leads and working closely with the wider team to close the leads.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Generating interest and securing qualified meetings with prospects through targeted face-to-face and telesales communication and sales research

- Co-ordinating the resource around you to effectively move leads throughout the sales cycle including demonstrations, meetings and proposals writing through to close

- Attending regular client meetings with the Consulting Team

- Proactive networking with clients

- Replying to all inbound leads in a timely manner

- working with the Head of Business Development, the Directors and the finance team to generate accurate sales forecasts and build a strong pipeline of opportunity

- Ensuring the Salesforce contact database is kept up to date and accurate reports are supplied to the team to monitor progress and improve performance

- Effectively managing a small number of early stage strategic accounts to maximise sales

- Working with the Marketing Executive and Consulting Team to ensure the marketing plan is effectively implemented to deliver campaigns, raise awareness of our branch and generate sales leads

- Working closely with the Business Development team to implement effective use of Salesform (CRM system)

- other ad hoc duties

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills / experience:

- Proved track record of experience within business development ideally within B2B

- Results-focused, commercially-oriented salesperson

- Good analytical skills with a desire to contribute to the improvement of sales processes

- Strong initiative to utilise the resources and wider team to find and close opportunities

- Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills

- Experience using Salesforce

- Energetic, enthusiastic and determined to work hard and make a positive different to a fast-growing business
