Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Bank Reconciliation Clerk to work for a national organisation. The ideal candidate will be assisting the Bank Reconciliation Manager with the reconciliation and control of the client’s accounts.

Key responsibilities of the Bank Reconciliation Assistant:

  • Uploading daily journals into SAGE
  • Uploading daily client bank statements into SAGE
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Preparing inter-client and office bank transfers
  • Downloading and reconciling credit card transactions
  • Investigation and resolution of reconciliation queries
  • Maintenance and control of chargebacks

The ideal Bank Reconciliation Assistant:

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • IT literate, proficient with Windows systems and Microsoft Office
  • A good communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data

Desirable knowledge and skills:

  • SAGE x3

Essential Qualifications:

  • Good level of general education to GCSE’s or GNVQ qualification or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Maths and English

Essential Experience:

  • Previous Accounts experience in an office environment or similar role
