Our client, an award winning provider of Adult and Children’s specialist services are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker for their well-established Supported Living Service in the Bournemouth area.

The Service provides 24 hour support to Adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems and ASC living in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and West Dorset areas.

This is an exciting professional development opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is looking to join a supportive provider who can offer plenty of training and progression.

As the Senior Support Worker you will be monitoring the service which is delivered to the Clients with Learning Disabilities, ASC and Complex Health needs including Mental Health problems and Epilepsy.

You will provide day to day supervision of staff, update and review clients’ documents, liaise with management and contribute to the 'oncall’ rota.

You will have sound, proven knowledge and experience in supporting people with LD, ASC and mental health problems, clients; be able to demonstrate leadership skills, attention to detail and initiative; have the ability to supervise a team of Support Workers and co-ordinate individual’s support delivery.

To be considered for this opportunity you will hold the following:
 You will be qualified to NVQ/QCF level 2 or equivalent; NVQ/QCF level 3 is desirable.
 You will be passionate and empathetic
 Ability to lead, motivate and inspire your staff to deliver outstanding support and care to the clients.
 Full UK manual driving licence, use of a car and Call 1 business insurance are essential

You will be based in the Bournemouth Office which is commutable from the following areas: Poole, Christchurch, Ringwood, Ferndown and Corfe Mullen.

This is a full time, permanent position (40 hours per week, shifts inclusive of alternative weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays as per rota) In return, my client are offering up to £21,713 per annum along with industry leading benefits including: Childcare Vouchers, Cash Health Plan, Free DBS, on-going training and support, pension scheme plus many more!
