Simply education is looking for a History teacher for a secondary school in the Thanet location for a September start on a permanent position.

This position would suit someone who is seeking a challenge and is passionate about making a difference. You will need to be a qualified Teacher of either the Secondary or FE sectors. Ideally History will be your trained specialism, however we are also encouraging teachers from other humanities to apply, providing there is some experience teaching History to children or young adults.

As well as teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 it would be an advantage if you also had experience teaching across Humanities including Geography and Religious Education. Schemes of work are in place and support with planning is on hand.

The School requires a Teacher with effective classroom management skills to uphold the behaviour policy which was put in place and to have the drive and enthusiasm to contribute to the Humanities department. This is a position for those that are passionate about education and looking to make a difference.
