Graduate Flood Risk Engineer role for a busy and successful Engineering consultancy working in Norwich.

Your new company
The organisation is a well-established multi-disciplinary Engineering consultancy with projects covering residential, commercial and historic buildings. The company put the service at the forefront of their business and provide to private and commercial client. The size of the projects range from small residential works to multi-million pound commercial builds.

Your new role
In your new role as a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer you will be responsible for preparing a range of reports, such as; FRA's, Drainage Strategy and surface water management plans. Other duties in the role include:

  • undertaking hydraulic modelling
  • producing flood zone maps
  • client liaising
  • producing conceptual & detailed design of surface & foul water drainage systems


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to have a BSc/MSc in Civil or an Environmental Engineering related degree. It is also advantageous to your application to have experience in hydrology and hydraulic design plus FRA and drainage. Being able to use AutoCAD and Civils3D will also only add to your application.
