Person Specification

For this post, you must be a cheerful and intelligent SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with both SEN and EAL pupils and an empathetic nature that allows you to develop you to approach your role in a caring manner. The perfect candidate will be able to bring a positive and supportive approach into the classroom and keep a professional attitude in a busy SEN environment.

About the Role

This SEN Teaching Assistant position involves joining a committed team of educational professionals who are all on hand to support your learning, part of your day will involve 1:1 support to one of the 8 pupils in your class. Recognising and understanding different learning needs is an essential skill of a special needs teaching assistant and you will be refining this awareness on a daily basis as you work with different pupils.
