We are seeking a Lead Implementation Manager for our client, a high growth tech start-up company which has customers around the world and with ambitions to become the best software platform for online retailers to manage their business.

They provide functionality to help increase and manage the sales of multichannel retailers selling on Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento.

Their award-winning platform integrates with the world’s leading shipping couriers and accounting software, streamlining the running of ecommerce businesses.

The Role

This position of 'Lead Implementation Manager’ will report directly to the Head of Customer Success. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of our client’s offering by:

  • Engaging with their clients through every step of the implementation process from initial consultation to UAT and targeted "Go Live" dates, to ensure that each customer is set up for success.

  • Providing timely and efficient consulting, project management and process integration services to new clients via phone, email, and onsite visits as required.

  • Developing, managing and reporting on project status, schedule and risks.

  • Providing formal status updates to internal and external project stakeholders;

  • Providing clear and effective internal and customer-facing communication and escalation paths and processes.

  • Continuously seeking ways to improve and speed up the implementation process;

  • Implementing and managing a project governance framework for customer or partner engagements.

Team Management Skills

  • Manage, develop and grow the implementation team

  • Develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal

  • Provide any training that team members need

  • Communicate clear instructions to team members

  • Listen to team members' feedback

  • Monitor team members' participation to ensure the training they are being provided is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed

  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations

Role Requirements:

  • PRINCE 2 certification - advantageous

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary education degree/certificate

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an implementation role

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and spoken);

  • Attention to detail

  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office);

  • Experience of Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon and eBay platforms
