We are delighted to be recruiting a Personal Insurance Adviser to work for a long established business in Stourbridge.

It would be ideal if you have a background in Insurance but it is not essential.  

Personal Insurance Adviser

HOURS OF WORK Mon - Fri 9am- 5:30pm and every other Saturday 9am - 12pm

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- To work within the Personal Lines department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner.
- To answer all incoming calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- To deal with associated administrative tasks
- The incumbent will be able to support the Firm's goals by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and will also have a proven record of success in converting incoming enquiries into sales.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

-  Good keyboard skills including Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet.
-  Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
-  Experience of providing specialised sales advice to support customer requirements.
-  Ability to identify and match our products with customer enquiries.
-  Thorough understanding of computerised quote systems

ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

-  Identify potential sales from all incoming calls and enquiries.
-  Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.
-  To complete all supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner.
-  To support the departmental key performance indicators
-  Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA rules.
-  To maintain their professional competence by complying at all times with the training and competence procedures of the firm.
-  To undertake all other reasonable duties as reasonably required and directed.
