Business Development Manager - New Business

Our client provides their clients with daily insights on how their target customers interact with a broad range of websites, and how their competitors use different tactics to attract online customers.

Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Business Development Manager with strong new business skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage a full sales cycle from initial introduction to close, being responsible for achieving individual revenue targets within the new business team.

Business Development Manager main responsibilities:

• Identify Prospect accounts
• Pro-actively prospect into these accounts in order to book face to face meetings (min. 12 per month)
• Deliver on revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities and managing these opportunities through to close
• Support the leadership team through accurate forecasting of monthly revenues

Essential requirements:

• Proven track record in a client facing Business Development Manager role (3+ years’ experience)
• Strong New Business skills
• Proven ability to make introductions to prospects and schedule face to face meetings
• A consultative approach with exceptional questioning skills
• Confident and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the client buying process
• Effective negotiation skills
• Ability to work to targets, in a competitive fast-paced environment
• A self-driven, proactive, tenacious working attitude
• The ability to work under pressure and deliver


• Interest and understanding of the digital marketing space - including the online display
