My client is a well established Financial services company based in the City. They are seeking a Law graduate with strong communication and administrative skills.

The Role

General

- Dealing with telephone calls and taking and delivering accurate messages.
- Providing clerical support to the team including typing letters, faxes, documents, emails, minutes and amending, processing and filing the same and arranging couriers and post.
- Dealing with outgoing correspondence including arranging couriers.
- Electronic document management including organising and arranging folders.
- Assisting with any ad-hoc duties, projects, research and fact finding.
- Maintaining and updating procedures as and when required.
- Providing back up cover for Office Administrators as and when necessary.

Support responsibilities:

- Maintaining and managing electronic and paper transaction files, original document files, CD bibles and off-site archiving, including correctly filing and saving documents in accordance with procedures.
- Coordinating execution of documents for the team, including printing, flagging, arranging execution, scanning, saving and distribution by email and post.
- Assisting with KYC tasks including maintaining a KYC compliance folder, sending KYC information and opening bank accounts; preparing KYC documents, arranging certification, scanning, saving and distributing to clients.
- Maintaining and updating databases and spreadsheets.
- Assisting the team with events and training arrangements.
- Providing general support to the team on ad hoc duties including responding to client queries and requests and forwarding documents.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

The candidate will need to demonstrate:

- Good educational qualifications or relevant experience with a high command of written and verbal English.
- Office administration experience. 
- Excellent Excel skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- An ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines, and to work effectively with team members
- Positive attitude, ability to show initiative and self-motivated.
- Mature and effective communication skills including friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Experience in drafting professional correspondence.
