For this Primary Trainee Teacher position, you must be an inspirational graduate with a 2.2 degree or higher and a true passion to become a teacher. You will be an eager and accomplished graduate who can show an innovative, creative teaching style. The chosen Primary Trainee Teacher should display a proactive attitude towards their training and learning, while proving that teaching is a true vocation to them by taking an active role in extra-curricular activities.
This Primary Trainee Teacher role involves you developing in to an outstanding teacher through the Premier Pathways Teacher Training Programme. Premier Pathways is a salaried, 2-year training programme in which graduates will be joining the school as a TA, and by term 3 developing into a class teacher by undertaking a .5 teaching timetable. This will be advanced into a .8 timetable by the end of the 2 years. During this teaching period, the you will be expected to complete all planning, preparation and assessment for lessons. Upon completion of the programme, the Primary Trainee Teacher will be awarded both QTS and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham.
