Client Details

My client are a leading healthcare organisation, who operate a number of hospitals in and around the London area. Due to the creation of a new Supply Chain structure, they now require a Supply Chain Manager to cover the Operating Theatres across all of these hospitals.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager will manage and lead the Supply Chain operation across all of the Operating Theatres in the hospitals. Their responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting demand (by working closely with clinical stakeholders)
  • Ensuring accurate inventory management (balancing availability vs. inventory level/cost)
  • Managing the materials/inventory from receipt on site to use in the Operating Theatres
  • Looking for ways to improve processes/efficiencies across the Supply Chain

You will lead and manage the team in each hospital to deliver all of the above.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • A background working in Operating Theatres, within a hospital environment
  • Strong Supply Chain knowledge across forecasting, order management, materials and inventory control
  • A demonstrable track record of managing and developing people
  • The drive to continually push for the best results
  • The ability to work collaboratively with clinical stakeholders in high pressure environments

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be based in London, and earn £50k-£55k plus attractive benefits.
