Senior Interior Designer
A small and personal interior design studio in NW London are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their practice on a permanent basis, having had an incredibly busy past 12 months'.
They have doubled their client base in certain areas of the company, so have a massive intake of projects. This role is brand new, and you will be supporting their Design Director with workload and leading projects. They have also recently re-branded, to better showcase their work.
You must have a proven track record of not only running projects, but running a small team as well. You will be working on high-end residential (private and developments). You must have an absolute minimum of 7+ years' experience working as an interior designer, specialising with FF&E.
Diving License essential, car beneficial. Due to travelling to site and clients, you must be able to drive. However, they can provide a car in the meantime, until you are able to buy your own.
You must be able to work in a team, as well as take your own initiative when required. You will be helping to leading projects. Excellent presentation skills are needed, in order to verbally and visually illustrate your ideas across. You need strong FF&E abilities, with a good understanding of suppliers, as well as understanding of technical work. You'll be one of the main points of contact for the client, so you need to have strong communication skills.
You must have a strong working knowledge of the following software's;
- Adobe Photoshop,
- Google Sketchup,
- Microsoft Office.
This small studio have around 15 staff and due to project intake are having a big recruitment drive on both the interiors and architecture side of the company. It's been a big start to 2017 and is just getting bigger for them.
