Business Development Manager - Digital Services To £55K Base + Bonus + Car Allowance


Our Client is an International Customer Management specialist with multiple sites in the UK. They offer multi channel solutions for a broad range of industry sectors - this includes the management of Digital & Social Media Services for one of the biggest brands Globally. To ensure that they keep at the forefront of Digital and Social Media Service Offerings across a broad spectrum of UK markets within the BPO sector, they are recruiting a Business Development Manager to focus on this particular Vertical.

Joining a team of Business Developers, each with their own Vertical, the role holder will drive Sales that deliver Core Strategy and promote innovative Client Solutions for new and existing Clients. Key responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Head of Operations for the UK, the Digital Business Development Manager will develop external strategic relationships, drive pre-sales solutions, drive new organic leads and participate fully in the project management of converted deals to the point of operational launch;


Drive new acquisition pipeline of sales leads in line with the company strategy and revenue targets set;


Negotiate and manage the end to end tender process in partnership with the UK Head of Operations ensuring correct operational and financial due diligence has been exhausted;


Provide high standards of project management in the preparation of all RFP material and make sure that cost of acquisition remains within budget;


Provide Strategic Thought Leadership in building the new business pipeline;


Develop and maintain strong and productive working relationships with internal teams;


Identify opportunities to partner with external companies. Be 'frontline’ representative for our Client and qualify potential prospects from third party organizations; direct potential partners to appropriate decision makers based on alignment with our Clients goals;


Maintain tracking reporting of Business Development against quarterly KPIs;
Provide reports and research on specific companies and market sectors, using internal and external resources.

In terms of who we are looking for, you'll have a strong Business Development background from a known and sizeable Digital Agency. You'll have highly developed Social Selling Skills using Digital Platforms. You'll be a persuasive and confident negotiator and understand pricing. You'll also have an excellent grasp of the Digital landscape and any factors likely to affect it. This role can be Home Based or located at one of our Clients existing offices (London/Hampshire/Cambridgeshire). Flexibility to travel and work from other locations/offices when needed is important.
