An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Planned Works Manager to join them in Brighton & Hove.

Within this role, you will manage the day to day operation of Planned Projects including Roofing, External and Internal Decorations, Doors and Windows. You will be responsible for all elements of Planned Projects, including management, operational program, budgeting, cost control and client liaison.

Your key areas of focus will be health and safety, quality of work, target completion dates, correctly following and monitoring of processes and procedures whilst monitoring technical competence and value for money.

Accurately identifying work in progress including frequent site visits to establish the exact status of the project, you will monitor the quality and technical competence of the workforce and will review works specifications lists and assess the completed project, through to hand back to the client.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have demonstrable experience of operating in a social housing planned contracting environment coupled with experience of supervising operatives and subcontractors.

With knowledge of measured term contracts and schedule of rates, you should have demonstrable understanding of job control and experience of working in Social Housing. In addition, you will also be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Project and Word.

Although not essential, a trade City & Guilds qualification and H&S qualification would be desirable.

Candidates for this role must hold a UK driving licence
