My client, an extremely decorated events organisation and one of the leading players in the industry, is seeking an experienced, professional and methodical Management Accountant to join their organisation. Purpose of the role
The Management Accountant will be responsible for produce management reports and accounts that provide accurate and timely financial and statistical information and analysis as required by the Business managers to make decisions. This will involve preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements.

Management Accountant Experience, Knowledge and Skills required:

- You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a management accountant experience
- Depending on length of experience, you will need CIMA or ACCA qualifications
- Experience in a Media and/or multi project/product business
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience of Sage 200 is preferable
- Confident, autonomous and not afraid to speak up.
- Good prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet monthly deadlines
- Able to work under pressure as well as manage heavy workloads
- You will be able to see where a team is stretched and have the initiative to step-up where help is needed offering ideas and solutions.
- Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with the board members on a regular basis, as well as external third parties.

Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts, including an initial review
- Collate information for other board reports and other ad hoc reporting
- Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
- Developing and managing financial systems/ policies
- Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
- Assisting junior members of the team
- Preparing some of the more difficult P&L and balance sheet reconciliations including: Revenues, Licence fees, Accruals and Inter-company
