We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Anglia Revenues Partnership we are currently looking for Benefits Officers to come and support our team at East Suffolk Council or Breckland Council. We have full and part time hours available on both permanent and fixed term contracts. The successful Benefits Officer will receive a competitive starting salary between £17,128 - £17,891 per annum (pro-rata).
The aim of Anglia Revenues Partnership is to run an efficient Council Tax collection and Housing Benefits service while reducing administration costs to each council. By coming together, each council can save money by pooling resources and staff.
More about the Benefits Officer role
The role involves calculation and assessment of Council Tax Support and Housing Benefits so some knowledge of related legislation would be an advantage, although full training will be provided. There will be team and individual targets, working across teams within ARP and externally, and the need to use specific IT systems relating to the role. This is a great career opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge whilst supporting the local community. There are also opportunities to work at a variety of offices across the partnership in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
